01Configure, don't commission.
The loan platform I worked on took about 18 months to go live. That is not unusual for bank software. Banks buy lending systems as turnkey projects, and every later change goes back into a vendor's queue.
I think lending software should work like Jira. Each bank sets its own process, rules and flow, and changes them itself.
Tessera is the concept I am building around that idea: loan origination and credit decisions as a configurable platform, offered as a service rather than a project. Below is one small working piece of it.

- A programme planner for multi-workstream delivery. The plan and its timeline sit side by side, zoom from weeks to quarters, fold into workstreams and export straight to slides.
